Our Refund Policy
At TutorsConnect, we invest significant time and effort in understanding each family's requirements, screening suitable tutors, coordinating demo sessions, and arranging the right tutor match for every student across Delhi NCR.
Because our service involves consultation, tutor sourcing, active coordination, and successful matching — all payments made to TutorsConnect are non-refundable once a tutor has been finalised and classes have commenced.
Our team spends real time sourcing, verifying, and coordinating for every parent request — regardless of whether classes eventually continue. This policy ensures we can continue providing this level of service sustainably.
Demo & Confirmation Policy
TutorsConnect arranges a demo session before any final commitment is made. This is your opportunity to evaluate the tutor before classes begin.
- A demo session may be arranged at no charge before final confirmation.
- Parents are strongly advised to evaluate the tutor thoroughly during the demo and initial sessions.
- Choosing to continue after the demo or initial classes will be considered acceptance of the tutor.
- If the tutor is not a good fit after the demo, inform us immediately — before classes commence — for replacement support.
The demo is your best opportunity to assess the tutor's communication style, subject knowledge, and compatibility with your child. Share honest feedback with us after the demo — it helps us serve you better.
Replacement Support
We understand that not every tutor-student match works perfectly. In cases of genuine concern, TutorsConnect provides replacement assistance to ensure your child's learning continues without disruption.
Replacement support may be considered in cases involving:
- Teaching quality — tutor is unable to explain concepts clearly or appropriately for the student's level
- Punctuality — repeated unexplained absences or late arrivals
- Professionalism — conduct that is inappropriate or unprofessional
- Compatibility — student is genuinely uncomfortable with the tutor despite a fair trial period

Replacement support is provided in the spirit of fairness and to maintain learning continuity — it is not a guaranteed service and is subject to review by the TutorsConnect team.
Non-Refundable Services
The following payments made to TutorsConnect are non-refundable under all circumstances:
Registration / Onboarding Fee
One-time fee paid during tutor or parent registration.
First-Month Service Fee
Platform coordination and facilitation charge for the first month.
Tutor Matching & Consultation
Effort involved in sourcing, screening, and suggesting suitable tutors.
Demo Coordination
Time and effort invested in arranging and facilitating the demo session.
Package / Course Arrangements
Any package-based or course-specific tutor arrangements.
Consultation Services
Requirement understanding, location matching, and scheduling support.
All payments made directly to the tutor from the second month onwards are entirely between the parent and the tutor. TutorsConnect is not responsible for refunds on these payments unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.
Payment Disputes
Payments made directly to tutors after the first month are outside the scope of TutorsConnect's refund responsibility. These are private financial arrangements between parents and tutors.
If a dispute arises between a parent and a tutor regarding direct payments, TutorsConnect may attempt to facilitate communication between both parties — but cannot be held liable for the outcome.
For any payment concern related to fees collected directly by TutorsConnect (first-month fee, registration fee), please write to us at support@tutorsconnect.in within 7 days of the transaction.
Exceptional Situations
We recognise that unusual circumstances can arise. Any exceptional refund request — outside the scope of the standard policy — will be reviewed entirely at the discretion of TutorsConnect management.
Such requests must be submitted in writing to support@tutorsconnect.in with full details of the situation. We will acknowledge your request within 3 working days and respond with our decision within 7 working days.
TutorsConnect's decision in such cases will be final. We always aim to be fair — and we take every concern seriously.
